The use and maintenance of motors are often neglected by people. Whether a motor can exert economic benefits, extend its service life, etc., correct use and daily maintenance is a key issue. Hino Electric uses professional technology to produce motors suitable for customers' products.
(1) Starting: The motor should be mechanically checked before starting, such as checking whether the shaft is loose; the bearing should be properly lubricated; the fan and the hood should not collide, and the motor base should be fixed. Then it is necessary to check the circuit, and check whether the leads of the motor are connected correctly. Some motors only need two wires in the outlet box. This kind of simple connection, and some have four wires. At this time, the connection method must be carried out according to the relevant manual, otherwise the motor will be burned out.
The wire must be firmly connected; a fuse should be installed in front of the socket of the motor, and the ampere rating of the fuse should be about 10-25% higher than that of the motor. Before the operation of the motor, carry out a no-load trial run without load to check whether the rolling is normal and whether the steering meets the requirements. Steering of single-phase motors. The motor manufacturer has already connected the winding, and it is not easy to change it at will.
When the motor starts, it can be started in 3 to 5 seconds. If the motor fails to rotate or cannot reach 70 to 80% of the rated speed after this time, the power supply should be cut off quickly, and the cause of the fault should be checked. winding. This situation may be that the load is too large; the voltage is low. The centrifugal switch does not operate, the motor winding has problems, etc.
(2) Operation: When the motor operates normally with a load, the speed is uniform, the movement and static are moderate, and the heat is appropriate. However, you should always pay attention to the temperature rise of the motor. If you find severe fever and other adverse symptoms, you need to turn off the brake and stop the operation. This happens mostly in villages because the grid voltage drops. Although this kind of heat will not burn the windings for a while, it will reduce the service life of the motor. To ensure that the motor is moisture-proof and ventilated, the outlet box and capacitors must not enter the water, and there should be no mechanical hazards. The air shelter of the hood should not be blocked, and the motor casing should be grounded. When the capacitor is damaged and updated, the voltage value of the new capacitor should not be lower than the voltage value of the old capacitor, and the number of practices should be the same.
(3) Repair: The motor can be disassembled and repaired for a long period of time. Clean up the internal debris and dust, add lubricating oil (use calcium-sodium-based No. 1 grease), etc.; measure the insulation resistance of the winding with a 500-volt shaker, and the normal value should not be less than 0.5 megohm.
When disassembling, pay attention to:
①The internal wiring of the winding and the welding point of the centrifugal switch must not be mistaken or disconnected.
② It is forbidden to break the insulation of the winding, maintain the action gap of the centrifugal switch, and ensure that its contacts operate normally.
③Be careful to avoid heavy blows on the aluminum shell motor, maintain the end face of the motor, and do not damage the heat dissipation ribs on the chassis and end cover, so as to maintain high-quality heat dissipation conditions. The fan blades must not be bent or broken, and the bearings and rotating shafts must not have mechanical hazards. When the motor is stored, it should be placed in a dry and ventilated place.
